About This Game EARLY ACCESS IMPORTANT NOTESWe want to clarify why this game is being released in early access instead of using crowdfunding. One reason is that it introduces players to the basic mechanics of the game early on, allowing the community share ideas for improvement while the game is still being developed. Although we are a small team, we have worked diligently on this project for almost three years and still have a long road ahead of us until we can expand our development team to speed things up. So please be patient as we continue to improve the game and add new features. We want to deliver the final project as fast as possible, but we also want to ensure it is polished and optimized. We believe feedback from early access is the best way to ensure a quality final product.Current stateIn the actual state of the game, you can freely express your dreams of building mighty castles of large scales or tiny medieval villages with a focus on realism. On the other hand, you can turn off all real physics restrictions just to unleash your fantasy.Under constructionCurrently, we are working on the village simulation mode, where you will take care of a few villagers, and together build a fief, by gathering resources, attracting wanderers to join your community, Taking cares of your dwellers, so they want to set up families. Also, we would like to make sandbox mode full of casual people doing their jobs.Long term plansOnce simulation mode is done, then we would like to add less optimistic simulation, where bad stuff happening. You will have to even defend your fief of thief raids.DevelopmentThis game is still in development. Initial Early Access release may not have all these entire features initially implemented but we will continue adding them over time. BUYER BEWARE, however, because it is not feature complete and does not include any form of combat in its current state.Understand what you're getting in this Early Access form of the game. If you enjoy castle building, it is a wonderful game already for that aspect. If you were expecting combat, you may want to hold off a bit until those features are in place. Know what you're getting yourself into when you purchase the game and you'll be pleasantly surprised.Developers are very driven to work with the community as well, so that is a huge plus. Bottom line, if you enjoy the Early Access process, then this is a good buy. If you don't and you just want a complete game, then give it a bit of time and make sure you at least put it on your Watch List.. It's been a lot of fun building my castle on this game, as for now there is a satisfying varitey of blocks so you can build good looking stuff. I like building castles.. def has potential but not much of a game right now, i hope the building process gets smoother.. The game is early and by how smooth and intuitive the building in this game is, I know the devs are adding the right amount of love needed for the upcoming game mechanics for war, crafting and strategy.Beautiful looking game with an imersiveness that pulls you into an early time period where you could literaly design any style of castle, grotto, mideval village that you desire. This is how building is supposed to be. 9/10 and absolutely superb. It is precisely the developers like these, that need lots of support. If these guys had half the budget that a UBISoft title has, this game would cause you to quit your day job and grow a root from your tail to your chair.. Not so much a cash grab as a small developer trying to create a very ambitious game that it can not regularly improve. Updates are slow and still has major issues.Terraforming is not saved from previous savegames.Part snapping is an issue.Can not always build/delete parts due to phantom parts above.Has potential...but for now, save your money.. Bad Controls kinda want my money back. Great looking game, which has great potential to be an amazing medieval game, however you should only buy this game in its current state (9/10/2017) to support the developer.. A build game that doesn't want you to build, you can't even free form a basic L shaped house in the housing section because the walls do not connect and fit at the 90 degree corners, you have to use a pre built wall for the house end. Almost impossible to find a spot where the terrain will allow you to build. I think too much time was spent on making the models and textures look nice and not enough on the actual controls. This game is far from complete and should not be selling at it's current price. I feel like I've been conned. 0.33.0 - Spanish language pack: Changes: Added Spanish language (by Emiliano Domenech). AI can no-longer become hostile to it's own faction due to friendly fire.. 0.42.3 - Hotfix: This is a hotfix release that fixes crash-to-desktop caused by opening ship repair menu after selling many minerals.. 0.59.0 - Behind the Veil: This release brings in a improved background resource loader. Now the game should load instantly.. 0.50.1 - Survival Principles: This version add lifepods to the game. Changelog: Player-controlled ship can now leave lifepod behind. You can find lifepods in the rings and rescue them. Fine-tuned excavation AI.. 0.58.2 - Thread of Compatibility: This is a bugfix release. Changes: Game will no-longer crash to desktop on Linux systems. You can skip the boot splash also with mouse click now.. 0.55.0 - Damage and Repairs: This update changes the way damage and repairs are handled. Changelog: System damage is more forgiving. No system should be damaged completely beyond scope of jury-rigging on the first hit. Fixed a nasty bug that caused no damage being dealt from kinetic impacts to ships. You cannot damage the ship beyond 100% now.. 0.42.4 - Sky is the Limit: This is a bugfix release. Fixes: You can now own more than 100 tons of H2O. Fixed weird focus behaviour when navigating the Enceladus menu with gamepad.
